Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Senior Loving Home Care (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website at https://seniorlovinghomecare.com/ (the “Site”), including our home care services, our blog, and our online store (together, the “Services”).
By accessing the Site, requesting services, or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the Services.
If you are accessing the Site on behalf of a family member or loved one, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site, place an order, or request services. Care services are provided to the individual receiving care (the “Client”), and may be arranged by the Client or by an authorized family member, guardian, or legal representative (the “Responsible Party”).
3. Home Care Services
3.1 Description of Services
Senior Loving Home Care provides non-emergency in-home care and support services, which may include companionship, personal care assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, transportation assistance, and related services as described on the Site or in your service agreement.
3.2 Service Agreement
Information on the Site is a general description only. Specific services, schedules, rates, and responsibilities are set out in a written Service Agreement signed before care begins. If these Terms conflict with a Service Agreement, the Service Agreement controls for the services it covers.
3.3 Care Assessment
We may conduct an in-home assessment to determine the Client’s needs. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services if we determine that we cannot safely or appropriately meet the Client’s needs, or if the home environment presents a safety risk to our caregivers.
3.4 Not Emergency or Medical Care
Our services are non-emergency. If you or a loved one is experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately. Unless otherwise stated in your Service Agreement and permitted by law, our caregivers do not provide skilled nursing or medical treatment and do not diagnose conditions or prescribe treatment.
3.5 Scheduling, Cancellations, and Fees
Please give us at least [24/48] hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a visit. Late cancellations or missed visits may be subject to a fee as stated in your Service Agreement. Rates, minimum visit lengths, and payment terms are set out in your Service Agreement. Invoices not paid by the due date may be subject to late fees and suspension of services.
3.6 Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate and complete information about the Client’s health, needs, and home environment; to maintain a safe, smoke-free, and harassment-free environment for our caregivers; to inform us promptly of changes in condition, medications, or emergency contacts; and not to directly hire or solicit our caregivers for private employment during the term of services and for 12 months afterward, except as permitted by law or your Service Agreement.
3.7 Termination of Services
You may end services at any time with written notice as specified in your Service Agreement. We may suspend or terminate services immediately if there is a threat to the safety of our staff, non-payment, or a material breach of these Terms or your Service Agreement.
4. Blog and Informational Content
Our blog and other content are provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on the Site is medical, legal, or financial advice, and it should not replace consultation with a qualified healthcare provider, attorney, or financial professional. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on our Site.
We make reasonable efforts to keep content accurate and current but do not guarantee its completeness or accuracy. Blog posts reflect the views of their authors and do not necessarily represent the Company.
Comments and User Submissions
If we allow comments, reviews, testimonials, or other submissions (“User Content”), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with the Site. You represent that you own or have the right to submit it and that it does not violate any law or third-party right. We may remove any User Content at our discretion. Please do not post private health information about yourself or others in public comments.
5. Online Store
5.1 Products
Our store offers products such as mobility aids, daily living aids, wellness products, gift items, etc. We try to display products and colors accurately, but we cannot guarantee that your device’s display will be exact. Product descriptions are not medical claims. Consult a healthcare professional before using any product related to health, safety, or mobility.
5.2 Orders and Acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. We may accept, limit, or cancel any order for reasons including product unavailability, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or limits on quantity. If we cancel an order after payment, you will receive a full refund.
5.3 Pricing and Payment
All prices are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. Prices do not include applicable taxes or shipping unless stated. Payment is processed through secure third-party payment providers. We do not store your full credit card information. By submitting payment information, you confirm you are authorized to use the payment method.
5.4 Shipping and Delivery
We ship all over the US. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. Please inspect your order on arrival and notify us within 7 days of any damage or missing items.
5.5 Returns and Refunds
Unused items in original packaging may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the purchase price, unless otherwise noted. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item was defective or sent in error. Certain items, such as personal hygiene products, custom orders, and opened consumables, may not be returnable. To start a return, contact us. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of receiving the return.
5.6 Warranties and Product Safety
Products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty where applicable. Read and follow all instructions, weight limits, and safety warnings that come with products. Stop using any product that appears damaged or unsafe.
6. Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Site to violate any law; harass, threaten, or defraud others; upload viruses or malicious code; scrape, copy, or interfere with the Site’s operation; attempt unauthorized access to our systems; or impersonate any person or entity. Because many of our clients are vulnerable adults, any attempt to exploit, deceive, or take advantage of seniors through the Site will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, blog articles, and software, is owned by or licensed to Senior Loving Home Care and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or republish content without our written permission.
9. Privacy and Health Information
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Information collected through the Site for the purpose of arranging care is handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Please do not send sensitive health information through unsecured contact forms or email. Contact us to arrange a secure method.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services, including payment processors and shipping carriers. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Senior Loving Home Care and its owners, employees, and caregivers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or store. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or store purchases will not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim. Liability for in-home care services is governed by your Service Agreement and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Senior Loving Home Care, its owners, employees, and agents from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your User Content.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will first be addressed through good-faith informal negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts or through binding arbitration. Where required by law, you may have additional rights that these Terms cannot waive.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
16. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any Service Agreement, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and Services.
